Molly brings a rare combination of gifts to WholeHearted — the mind of a nutrition educator, the heart of a pastoral counselor, and the grounding of a family systems scholar.
Her training in functional nutrition means she understands not just what people should eat, but why their bodies respond the way they do — and how to support real, sustainable change from the inside out.
As a volunteer pastoral counselor at her church, Molly has walked alongside countless people through grief, transition, and healing. She knows that wellness is never just physical — it's emotional, relational, and deeply spiritual.
Her degree in Family and Child Studies shapes how she thinks about community — not as a network, but as a family. Everyone who joins WholeHearted is welcomed as one.
My Story
Hi, I'm Molly
Health has been part of my story for as long as I can remember.
As a little girl, I was always interested in nutrition, fitness, and taking care of my body. That interest continued throughout my life and eventually led me to pursue multiple certifications in health coaching. I have always believed that the choices we make every day matter, and I have spent years learning more about nutrition, wellness, and how the body works.
But my passion for health is also deeply personal.
Growing up, I watched my mom, Mary, struggle with her weight and with her health. As the years went on, those struggles became increasingly complicated. Near the end of her life, she was taking 42 different medications to manage multiple health conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, Lewy body dementia, hypertension, and other chronic health problems.
Watching someone you love go through that changes you.
My mom passed away five years ago, but her experience has stayed with me. It made me think deeply about the way we approach health, the choices we make years before a diagnosis, and how often we wait until something has become a serious problem before we begin looking for answers.
I never wanted health to be something I only thought about when something went wrong.
Even with my lifelong focus on nutrition and fitness, though, I eventually found myself struggling too.
My weight would go up and down. My energy was getting worse as I got older. I dealt with cravings, brain fog, poor sleep, bloating, and that frustrating feeling of wondering why my body seemed to be changing despite my efforts to take care of myself.
I was doing many of the things I had always believed were important, but something still felt like it was missing.
A close friend eventually introduced me to the Feel Great System, a simple approach that helped me begin looking at metabolic health in a completely different way.
Instead of focusing only on calories, exercise, or the number on the scale, I began learning more about insulin resistance, blood sugar, cravings, energy, sleep, and how interconnected our metabolism really is.
That changed so much for me.
Over the following months, I lost 11 pounds, the puffiness in my face decreased, my bloating and constipation improved, my energy came back, I started sleeping through the night, and the constant cravings that had controlled so many of my choices began to quiet down.
But the biggest change was not simply losing weight.
For the first time, I felt like I was beginning to understand my body instead of constantly fighting it.
Looking back, I realize that my journey into metabolic health brought together so many pieces of my life: the little girl who was fascinated by nutrition and fitness, the health coach who wanted to understand how to help people make healthier choices, the daughter who watched her mother struggle with chronic illness, and the woman who eventually realized that she still had more to learn about her own health.
That is why this has become so important to me.
Today, my family and I continue to focus on supporting our own metabolic health, and I share what I have learned with others who may be struggling with stubborn weight, cravings, low energy, blood sugar concerns, fatty liver, brain fog, or simply feeling like their body is no longer responding the way it used to.
I am not here to tell anyone they need to be perfect.
I am not here to replace their doctor or tell them how to manage a medical condition.
I am here to help people become more curious about their health, understand their bodies better, and discover simple, sustainable ways to support their metabolic health.
Because after watching my mom’s journey and going through my own, I believe there is tremendous value in becoming proactive about our health long before we are forced to be.
We deserve education.
We deserve to understand our bodies.
We deserve hope.
And we deserve to feel empowered to make informed decisions for ourselves and the people we love.
That is why I do what I do.
Wholeheartedly,
Molly
